She is an expert in the specialized area of the law that deals with resolving tax controversies and disputes with more than 15 years of experience working for individuals, families and businesses facing action by the IRS (federal), California Franchise Tax Board (FTB), California Employment Development Department (EDD), and California Board of Equalization (BOE). Ms. Kienitz personally works on every case—seeing all disputes through to resolution—always in a professional, confident, responsive and caring manner.

In addition to her work with the firm, Ms. Kienitz currently serves as Adjunct Professor at the Dale E. Fowler School of Law, Chapman University in Orange County, California.
Ms. Kienitz also served as a Visiting Assistant Clinical Professor at the Chapman University School of Law Tax Law Clinic where she advocated on behalf of clients against the IRS. Earlier in her career, she spent many years working in key positions within municipal governments of California and Illinois, providing leadership, legal advice and budgetary assistance.
